About Us
Dear Smingle Members:
While having dinner in a French restaurant at a California hotspot, a diverse group of people with adhesive name badges stuck to their chests caught our attention. Attempting to socialize with each other, they appeared to be awkward, uncomfortable and frustrated. We could identify. It had taken us years to find each other. We knew there had to be a better way to meet and make connections. All of our single friends and family members shared their frustrations of the dating world; not only the expensive dating sites, but also not receiving the value that they were promised.
That evening, at dinner, Smingle was developed from our true desire to give you the place to be yourself, to be heard, to have a voice and most importantly, to know that it is OK to be single! We also wanted to create a safe environment for you where you could explore your options and make connections. We want you to take risks and meet as many other likeminded people as you can.
Finally, what we hope is that you celebrate your single lifestyle. What we want for you is to enjoy what the single lifestyle has to offer and along that journey we trust that you will meet that someone special and hopefully that person will be your SoulMate.

Craig Lehmann has over 18 years experience in Business Management, Sales, Marketing and Business Development. A true Entrepreneur, he is also currently the President and Co-Founder of a leading Business Events Company CraigMichaels, Inc that was featured as an Inc 5000 company this year. His expertise in Management includes serving as Managing Director for a leading International Recruitment Company and as an Executive Director for a leading International Business Event Company where he increased revenues from $3 million to $20 million per year. Craig has also gained experience in International Sales and Marketing Management while working with Fortune 1000 companies in Africa, Europe and Asia.
Craig received his Bachelor's Degree of Commerce in Management and his Masters Degree of Commerce from the University of South Africa (UNISA); he is also a member of the Human Capital Institute, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, the Society of Independent Show Organizers, Meeting Professionals International and the South African Chamber of Commerce America.

Beverly is a Personal Results Coach/Relationship Coach and considers herself a Visionary. (www.empowerhourcoaching.com) After graduating from Coach University, the leading global provider of coach training, she completed The Evolutionary Mentor Program with The New Visionaries, in the UK. Her coaching strengths are in her ability to connect with others and help them tap into their highest potential then guide them into action so they create the life they love!
Although Beverly has years of Business as well as Business Management experience, the passion that lead her to coaching and Smingle began long ago when she studied with luminaries such as Michael Shurtleff, Tony Award winner Vivian Matalan (Mornings at Seven), Oscar winner George Roy Hill (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and when she managed to work Off Broadway with playwright Israel Horowitz. In fact her name is listed for originating two roles in the Samuel French version of the play Henry Lumper (Beverly Dretzel).After performing in a lot of off-Broadway theater and landing the role of a French woman in a film (She doesn’t speak much French!) She auditioned on Broadway. (She belted “My Heart Belongs to Daddy” from the Shubert Theater stage... and she doesn’t sing!) Most recently, she worked as the voice of Hillary Clinton (and she is not a politician!) on Curtis and Kuby’s morning radio show on WABC.
Beverly has a passion for following her heart – and right now “Smingle” has a place in hers!
